All borrowed library books were to be turned in by Friday, June 4th. Please check at home for any
outstanding books that need to be returned. Lost or unreturned books will be charged to student
accounts for the cost to replace the item(s).

We look forward to the 3rd grade presentation on a special chapel date, Tuesday, June 8th at 8:30
a.m. The chapel will be recorded and streamed on the DC app.

For this momentous year, we have issued an all-school yearbook. The high school yearbook class
worked tirelessly to produce a stellar product. Elementary students will receive their yearbooks on
Tuesday, and we will enjoy the opportunity to sign yearbooks in the morning.

Grades one through six will be participating in our annual DC Spelling Bee on Wednesday, June 9th.
Five students from each grade will compete to be the Spelling Bee Champion for their respective
grade. Kindergarten will join us to cheer on the contestants. We will be sure to post pictures of the
event and the winning students.

On Thursday, the final chapel for the elementary students is scheduled. We will issue our final
Accelerated Reader Dog Tags. Honor Roll will be announced. We will issue our final Good Eagle
prizes. We are grateful to God for such a wonderful academic year, and we feel so proud of our
hard-working and diligent students. We are especially appreciative of our fiercely dedicated faculty!

Kindergarten through sixth grade will be having in-class, end-of-the-year celebrations. Teachers
have special activities and awards planned. We will be sure to take plenty of pictures, so that we
might share them with our parents. It has been a tough year, because we have truly missed parent
presence on our campus, at our chapel, and our musicals. We are prayerful that our new academic
year will allow for parent involvement, once again.
