Academic Dates and Events

August 17, 2016  • Minimum Day will be held K - 12.

A progress report is a considered a midpoint grade. Quarter grades are averaged together to calculate the semester grade. Semester grades count for college; however, if the student is not averaging 2.0 or above, they will not be eligible for sports.

Daily Schedules

Issues that relate to the time a regular event occurs

1st - 2nd Grades: 11:15 - 11:55 am
3rd - 4th Grades: 11:40 am - 12:20 pm
5th Grade: 12:05 - 12:45 pm
6th - 8th grades: 11:25 am - 12:05 pm
High School: 12:20 - 12:50 pm

Elementary School: each Friday at 8:30 a.m.
Middle/High School:each Wednesday at 9:50 a.m.

Finals Schedule: The end of the week for both 2nd & 4th Quarters.  School typically is dismissed for a 1/2 day at 11:30 am.  Please check Annual School Calendar for details.

Join us for a special ceremony as we promote our 8th grade class on Wednesday, May 23rd at 2pm in the Desert Chapel Sanctuary.

This very special religious ceremony is the last chapel time of the school year.  Typically the Wednesday before the last day of school.  

The last Friday of the school year at 6:00pm in the Desert Chapel Sanctuary.

Field Trips/Sporting/Special Off Campus Events

Parent drivers. All drivers must have required insurance information forms on file with the office.

Driving time, plus 1 ½ hours. Please discuss specific leaving times with team coach.

Students are expected to complete all class work as usual and turn it in on time.

Finance/School Payments

Tuition payments are due on the 1st of each month and late on the 10th.

Yes, Visa & Mastercard are accepted in the finance office.

General Questions

Please contact the office to discuss with the school secretary.

Teachers will schedule conferences in 20 minute increments. Notes will be sent home to the parent to confirm the date and time scheduled by the teacher. If you require a special time, please contact your student’s teacher directly.

Prior to starting any sport practices.

Student will not be allowed to play any sport, until their grades meet the minimum GPA requirement at the next grading period.

Uniforms & Dress Code

Students are required to wear tan bottoms and a solid, plain collared shirt. On chapel days, students must wear their chapel shirt with tan bottoms. Girls may wear jumpers and skirts; however, they must have shorts on underneath.

Either a school (DC) t-shirt, a solid plain colored polo and tan bottoms. On chapel days, students MUST wear their chapel shirt with tan bottoms. Students may wear jeans on Fridays.

Elementary students may have free dress on pictures days, but must change back into school clothes after their picture is taken.

Length of these garments can be no shorter than a hand width between the knee and the bottom of the clothing.

Elementary and Middle School must wear closed toe shoes, i.e. tennis shoes. High school can wear sandals.

They will be given a shirt to borrow, but shirt must be returned by the next day or your tuition account is billed.

They will lose points and must still participate in their school clothes.

No. High school students may wear this type of shirt as long as they have a sweater or jacket over the top.

A verbal warning will be given the first time and then a written warning will be given on the second offense. If this is a continual problem parent may be called.
