Mrs. Brown received her undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Professional Education with honors in 1989. Her authorized field is general subjects with a supplementary authorization in English. She earned her CLAD credential from California State University San Marcos and her Masters in Administration and Administrative Credential from Concordia University, Irvine. She has taught college, high school, middle school, and elementary school students over her forty-plus years as a teacher and an administrator.
Her goal is to create academically engaging learning experiences through an environment that fosters creativity, curiosity, and kindness. She is committed to sharing her passion for Biblical truth and to help students understand and memorize Scriptures that apply to everyday life.
Mrs. Brown is a returning teacher to Desert Chapel, having been the first teacher hired in 1980. She taught for five years, at that time, and has returned to Desert Chapel this year.
