MICHELE INGRAM

Vice Principal - Academic Coordinator
Mrs. Ingram and her family moved from Canada to the United States in 2007, and they have attended church at Desert Chapel since 2008.  She joined the faculty at Desert Chapel Christian School in 2012 as the fifth grade teacher, teaching fifth grade for six years, before moving into her current role as Academic Coordinator and Vice Principal.  She also taught middle school Bible and high school English.

Mrs. Ingram studied at the University of Toronto, earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology.  She continued her studies at Tyndale Theological Seminary, earning her Master’s of Divinity in Marriage and Family Therapy.

Although Mrs. Ingram absolutely loves to teach, her role as Academic Coordinator has allowed for the opportunity to partner with students and their families at all grade levels, and to support the teachers in their pursuit to instruct students with excellence.

A favorite passage from Scripture is Jeremiah 29:11-13, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.  You will seek Me and find me when you seek Me with all your heart.”  God’s promises provide hope and peace, no matter our circumstances.
Mrs. Ingram’s greatest privilege is to be mother to two wonderful sons and wife of an entrepreneurial husband.   She is co-founder with her husband of a local children’s charity, Camp of Champions A & M, that impacts the lives of youth through accountability, physical activity, motivation, and reward. Mrs. Ingram loves to read, enjoys time with family and friends, and enjoys tinkering in the kitchen.
