Senior parents...we are quickly approaching deadlines for caps and gowns, yearbook etc. We have extended the deadlines for the yearbook and video.

Herff Jones did a brief presentation regarding the options for graduation packages, class rings, announcements, and other items available for purchase. Forms are available in the office, or you can shop online at www.4lgrad.com search for Desert Chapel Christian School.
Please note – at the beginning of the school year, you paid for a Senior package which includes:
Cap & Gown • Senior Grad trip ticket • Senior Lunch
Please email or call Debbie Bergman with your student’s name, height in feet & inches and weight, by Wednesday, February 28th.
Senior Yearbook Page – Deadline Friday March 2nd
Each senior will have a one page spread which typically contains their name, favorite verse and 4- 5 photos. The students will have the opportunity to design their page for the yearbook in the computer lab. Senior pages need to be completed by March 2nd. Please note you may want to use different photos for both the yearbook. Please see attached for the login instructions.
Graduation Video – Deadline extended to Friday March 16th
Each year a video is presented at graduation which includes snapshots of campus life, sports events, special events and compilation of photos for each graduate. Please provide 5-8 (no more than 8 photos) in an envelope marked with your student’s name and drop them off to Debbie in the office. All photos will be returned after scanning. If you have digital files please email them to Christy West – firstname.lastname@example.org. Make sure to include the order you would like them shown, if no order is provided they will be displayed chronologically.
Instead of music playing behind the senior photos, parent voices are played while your students’ photos are playing. Each student's parent(s) will be allowed a total of 60 seconds of speaking time. This time can be split between each parent or however you like. You should plan writing down your “speech” before your record, as it is easier to read than just to remember. You have two choices for recording:
1. Record your voice at your convenience by using a either QuickVoice or VoiceMemos (iphone apps) or a similar recording app on android. These apps are fantastic and give you a countdown so you know how long you are speaking. Make sure that you are alone or in a quiet room with no background noise. Once you have completed your recording please email the file(s) to email@example.com with your student’s name and the order in which you would like to voices to play.
2. If you would prefer to come and have your voice recorded on campus, please contact Christy West at 760-219-5542 to schedule a time.
