Daily Verse:

Ephesians 3:20 NIV
Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.

Honor Roll
We will be recognizing all students in grades 6-12 that earned honor roll during next week’s chapel (1/26). Students that received a GPA of 3.0 or higher earned honor roll. Emails will be going out to parents whose child is on the honor roll by the end of Friday, January 19th. We encourage all parents and families to attend our chapel service at 10 am in the high school drama room next Friday and see the reward of their hard work.

Tardy Policy
We have begun to reinforce our tardy policy throughout the school day. Our policy is in the Student Handbook that was given at the beginning of the year. The student handbook is available online at under resources.  The first tardy will be a call home and a verbal reminder. The second tardy and tardies thereafter will result in a phone call home as well as lunch detention and/or campus beautification. If 10 or more tardies occur, there will be an Administrative Review and additional disciplinary action. If you have any questions regarding our policy please contact the office.

CSF (grades 9-12) and CJSF (grades 6-8) applications are available in the office. Students must re-enroll each semester to maintain their membership status. Grades reported on the application should be from the first semester of this year. If you need a copy of the latest report card, please see Mrs. Bergman in the office. All applications are due by Wednesday, January 31st to Mrs. Donaldson.

ASB Bake Sale
ASB will be holding a bake sale this upcoming Tuesday, January 23rd during both the middle and high school lunches. All items will be $1 each and will include cookies, brownies, muffins, and other treats. ASB BBQ’s will resume Tuesday, January 30th.

Mario’s Pizza Day
Thursday is our Mario’s Pizza Day with a personal pizza and a drink for $4 ($4.50 w/ Gatorade).

Elementary STAR Testing
A big thank you to all of our elementary students who worked diligently this past week during their STAR testing. Way to go eagles!

Church Sanctuary
On Tuesday, January 9th, our Church suffered a significant challenge. A broken water pipe compromised the integrity of the main supporting beam in the church sanctuary, collapsing the ceiling. The water flooded the sanctuary. The building has been red-tagged by the fire marshal as uninhabitable until the beam is fixed, which could be two to three months. During the time it will take to make these repairs, church service will be held in the high school gym at 6 p.m. Saturday nights and 9 a.m. & 11 a.m. Sunday mornings. We will have an opportunity to praise the Lord for all he has brought us through and believe together for where he is taking us next.
