COVID-19 & School Closure Update

Psalm 91:10-11

Good afternoon,

This is just a friendly reminder of the DROP-OFF and PICK-UP times this weekend.  Families can pull up to the north end of the gymnasium to the roll-up door, and we will collect your students' completed work for grading, and provide you with assigned work for the month of April.  The drop-off and pick-up times are:

  • Sunday, April 5th - 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
  • Monday, April 6th - 8:00 to 10:00 a.m.

On March 22nd & 23rd, students were assigned two-weeks' worth of work, and it is due on April 5th & 6th.  We will collect the completed work for teachers to grade.  At the same time, we will provide your students with a new work packet providing them with assignments for the month of April.  For students doing assignments in workbooks, please keep the workbooks and just turn in the completed pages.  Students will need the workbooks to do April assignments.

As you swing by to see us this Sunday and Monday, please do bring us your re-enrollment packets, as we are already making plans for the 2020-2021 academic year!  What a joy it will be to have our students back on our campuses!

In order to assess work and provide valuable feedback to students, we will schedule a drop-off date for completed work for Friday, April 17th. This will allow teachers to provide meaningful feedback and direction to students.  We will provide you with more details on the drop-off protocol shortly.

At the end of April, we will schedule another drop-off and pick-up date to provide you with a final packet of work to get the students through the month of May.

It is our desire to continue to instruct and invest in our students, providing them with a quality education during these unusual times.   We will assess work, and it is our plan to issue report cards at the end of May, providing 4th quarter grades, and complete Semester Two grades.

Our prayers for you are constant.

Blessings and God's peace,

Mrs. Ingram, Academic Coordinator/Vice Principal
