Ms. Harebottle is new to Desert Chapel this year and is teaching second grade. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science - Psychology at California State University, San Bernardino. She also earned her Master of Arts in Teaching from Chapman/Brandman University with a Science concentration. She has worked in both public and private education. She has nineteen years of teaching experience in various grades including elementary, middle school, high school, and special education classrooms. Ms. Harebottle is also trained in ABA, and has worked with children on the autism spectrum as a behavioral interventionist.
Ms. Harebottle has a passion for world travel, speaking and learning foreign languages, and adores astronomy. Stargazing is her number one hobby. She enjoys teaching and sharing her enthusiasm for science with her students.
