Student registration is determined following a complete evaluation of recommendations, assessment results, and an interview. Incoming Transitional Kindergarteners must turn 4 on or before June 1, 2026; Kindergarteners must turn 5 on or before September 1, 2026.

What does the DCCS application process look like?
1. Apply Online
To begin the application process, click the APPLY button above and create a FACTS account. This will allow you to access the application. If you have any questions along the way, please reach out to our Admissions Team at info@dceagles.org or by calling 760-327-2772.
2. Document Checklist
- Birth Certificate
- Immunization Records (confirm all are up to date)
- Grade Reports
- N/A for TK or Kindergarten
- Report cards for the current and previous school year (Students entering grades 1-9)
- High school transcripts (Students entering grades 10-12)
- Upload IEP or 504 Plan (if applicable)
- Student Questionnaire & Essay (Students entering grades 7-12)
3. Schedule Assesment/Interview
- Once all checklist items are completed, our admissions team will contact you to schedule your child’s assessment.
- Students applying for grades 7-12 will also have an interview with our Administration
- Students with an IEP or 504 plan will also have a review by our Educational Support Director.
4. Application Evaluation
- Please allow up to two weeks for review after assessment/interview are completed.
5. Admissions Decisions
- Families will receive an email acceptance letter for their student.
- Email will include instructions on how to complete the next step to complete enrollment.
- If applying for Financial Assistance, qualified families will receive an award letter.
We understand that the enrollment of our student is dependent upon the results of an academic, financial and behavioral review.
- The Academic Review is review of the assessment test results, and for elementary students includes the most recent report card.
- For middle school and high school students, this includes review of the most recent report card, current GPA, progress towards successful graduation, academic achievements, and the student’s personal commitment to educational advancement and learning.
- The Behavioral Review includes personal recommendations, attendance, tardiness, disciplinary referrals, suspensions, classroom attitudes, Christian character, moral values and influences that the student has upon others.
- The Financial Review includes ability to fulfill school fees, stewardship, and any benevolence that might be made available.
