Athletic Philosophy
At Desert Chapel Christian School, we believe that athletics is an integral part of education, and a Christ-centered athletic program is vital to our educational process. Therefore, we strive to honor the Lord in all we do, to “run in such a way that we may receive the prize.” We are trying to instill values such as integrity, teamwork, and perseverance in our athletes. We strive to get every student involved in athletics; teaching sports fundamentals in a structured environment to encourage success. Desert Chapel Middle & High School competes in the California Interscholastic Federal Southern Section.

All DCCS students are required to meet these standards in order to participate on any sports team
- Maintain at least a 2.0 GPA throughout each quarter
- Complete the Athletic Participation application
- Have a yearly physical completed and signed by a physician
- Uphold the Code of Ethics (To be signed in Athletic Participation application)
