ALL SCHOOL CHAPEL We will have an All School Patriot Chapel in the sanctuary, Friday September 7th . Chapel will begin at 10:00. Please join us to honor our fallen, and living, heroes.
We will also recognize our MS/HS Honor Roll students.
KIDS SING IN CHURCH The elementary school students will sing in church on Sunday, September 9th. We would like them to sing at both services, 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. Please wear the DC Polo with khaki bottom. Meet Mrs. Wood in the small gym by 8:45 and 10:45.

Important Dates: Tuesday, September 4: MS/HS Drama Club, 2:30 - 4:00 pm Meet in the Drama Room with Ms. Harty.
Wednesday, September 5: Parent Meeting - 6:15 to 6:45 pm Parents (Elementary, Middle, or High) wishing to be a Class Parent Representative, assist with WASC, and/or serve on the Eagles Nest, please join us in room 301 (on the MS/HS Campus).
LIBRARY BOOKS
REMINDER: All books that have been checked out must be returned to the Library by Friday, May 18th. Books that are not returned will be charged to your account.
LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL EVENTS
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, May 21, 22, and 23, are all MINIMUM DAYS, dismissal at 11:30 a.m.
Tuesday, May 22:
High School Course Selection
Students in grades 9-11 will be choosing their courses for next year. All students must bring back their forms with a parent signature confirming their course selection. Please return these forms to the office by Tuesday, May 15th.
Finals
Finals for grades 6-11 will be held May 21-23. Each day will be a minimum day with dismissal at 11:30 a.m. Students will attend periods 1 & 2 on Monday, 4 & 5 on Tuesday, and 6 & 7 on Wednesday.
STAR TESTING
During the week of May14th students will be taking their year-end Star test.
The Star Test is a customized reading test for students to take on a computer. The tests are done 3 times a year, beginning, middle and end, and are used to determine the reading level of each student and to measure their growth.
Senior Finals
Seniors only will be on a special schedule due to finals next week. Finals will begin on Wednesday, May 9th with finals in periods 6 & 7. Thursday will have a dismissal time of 12:20 pm and Friday will have a dismissal time of 10:30 am.
Special Lunch
Thursday is Mario’s Pizza Day: individual pizza and a drink for $4. Please note that there will be no more ASB BBQs on Tuesdays for the remainder of the school year.
SPEECH MEET
Our 1st place Speech Meet students will be giving their speech in Chapel this Friday, May 4th. Chapel begins at 8:30, and it will be in the big gym.
LIBRARY BOOKS
The last day to check out books from the Library will be May 9th. All books that have been checked out must be returned to the Library by May 18th. Books that are not returned will be charged to your account.
